JHS Students interest in ACT Prep and/or PSAT Prep Mr. Moses just received this information and is passing along to you I have attached flyers for my upcoming ACT and PSAT classes if you would like to forward to parents and students. Two main goals of these classes are to teach strategies to promote confidence and to refresh basic skills that students have previously learned. For those of you who are new to your counseling position, I would like to tell you about myself. Before my retirement, I taught in the Edmond school system for 39 years. I have conducted my ACT prep class for 26 years and my PSAT class for 21 years. Historically, students who have emailed me their scores have had an average gain of 4 points on the ACT, and I have had a yearly average of 19 National Merit Finalists on the PSAT. JHS Seniors: Deadlines are critically important! If you are planning to go to college after graduation you need to be filling out and submitting application for admissions to colleges you are interested in. JHS Seniors interested in out of State College: Wichita State offers in-state tuition to students graduating from Jones High School.
