The WEOKIE Foundation is thrilled to continue the scholarship competition for our High School Seniors. Each year the Foundation awards $50,000 in scholarships to 25 graduating seniors a $2,000 scholarship for college or vocational school.

Do you have a passion for writing, photography, outdoor education, videography, web design, marketing or social media? The Wildlife Department will hire several interns to fill positions in the Communication & Education Division. Interns will help with communication efforts through a variety of communication channels and assist with the Department's educational programs. These internships are paid positions that report to the Oklahoma City headquarters or the Jenks office. The work schedule is flexible during regular business hours of 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Mondays through Fridays.

EngineerGirl Writing Contest
EngineerGirl is offering a scholarship to young girls who want to pursue engineering. The 2021 contest invites students to submit a piece of writing that salutes engineering’s role in meeting and defeating the challenges presented by COVID-19. There are three categories based on grade level, each with its own eligibility requirements. Each category will celebrate their own winners. Students can participate if they are within grades 3-12.

Fisher House Scholarships for Military Children
The Scholarships for Military Children Program was created to recognize the contributions of military families to the readiness of the fighting force and to celebrate the role of the commissary in the military family community. Applicants must be enrolled or planning to enroll in a full-time undergraduate program. High school applicants must have a minimum GPA of 3.0 and college applicants must have a minimum GPA of 2.5. Students will be asked to write a short 500-word essay as well as submit transcripts and validation of military dependency.

ackie Robinson Scholarship
Through its Mentoring and Leadership Development Program, the Jackie Robinson Foundation provides scholarships to minority high school students showing leadership potential and demonstrating financial need. Eligible students must be citizens of the United Sate and have a minimum SAT score of 1,000 combined on the math and critical reading sections or a composite ACT score of 21. To apply, students must submit an online application, which includes four essay questions. Additionally, they must submit a professional headshot and one letter of recommendation.

Gordon A. Rich Memorial Foundation Scholarship
The Gordon A. Rich Memorial Foundation was created to honor the memory of Gordon Rich. He was an extraordinary athlete, an accomplished pianist, master chef and a loving father and husband. The Foundation awards grants to support the higher education goals of its recipients. Applicants should be high school students with demonstrated financial need whose parents or guardians have, or had, a career in the financial services industry. Students should also have a minimum GPA of 3.5 and be a U.S. citizen or legal resident.

Christopher's 31st Annual Poster Contest
High school students are invited to create a poster interpreting the theme “You Can Make a Difference”. Applicants can create a poster digitally and submit it digitally. Orange Scholars Scholarship Program
The Homer Fund seeks to truly make a positive impact in our associates’ lives. The Fund recognizes how expensive post-secondary education can be, and decided in 2006 to branch out and seek other ways to show its support of our associates. Thus, the Orange Scholars Scholarship Program was created.
