Format
You will have the opportunity to participate in multiple virtual college fairs where you can hear from several different colleges and universities in one session and have the ability to ask questions to college reps:
Sessions will have six different colleges and universities presenting.
Sessions are offered over four nights and one afternoon to provide you a variety of opportunities to connect with college reps.
Students are encouraged to register for multiple sessions!
Student Registration
Students can register for a session in each 45-minute timeblock. To do so, click the Student Registration link for each session of interest. If students are interested in attending sessions that are running concurrently, please continue to register for both sessions so colleges are receiving your information.
Once registered, students will receive a confirmation email with a unique link to join the Zoom webinar. Students also receive a barcode in the confirmation email; however, please note the barcode is not necessary for this virtual event.
When students register, they are sharing their registration information only with colleges presenting on that particular session. StriveScan does not sell or share personally identifiable student information with any other third parties.
Students are encouraged to attend these sessions live. Sessions will be recorded and accessible at a later date.

Parents should register their students using their student’s information.

Guidelines:
* All Oklahoma high school students (9th - 12th grade) are eligible.
* Poetry (up to 100 lines) or Short Fiction (up to 6,000 words) is acceptable.
* Limit 5 poems and 1 short fiction piece per student.
* All entries must be the original work of the student.
* All entries must be neatly typed; please double-space fiction entries.
* Entries will not be returned, so keep your originals.
* No identifying marks should be on the manuscript itself, except for the title.
* Provide cover page with contact information: 1) Student’s name; 2) Student’s Mailing Address 3) Teacher’s name 4) Classification (senior, junior, etc.) 5) Phone number, Email and student’s mailing address. (No work submitted without a mailing address for each student cannot be judged)
* Work may be submitted through conventional mail or email.
DEADLINE: Conventional mail must be postmarked on or before Friday, February 5, 2021. Email entries must be sent by 11:59 p.m. on February 5, 2021. There will be no exceptions. Winners will be notified and awards will be mailed to students during the month of April 2021. The names of winning writers will be posted online at: www.ecuscissortail.blogspot.com.

FINALLY, A SCHOLARSHIP FOR ZOMBIE FANS
Did binge-re-watching "The Walking Dead" get you thinking about what you’d do if the streets were filled with flesh-eating zombies? Maybe you've envisioned your own post-apocalyptic world overrun with the living dead, forcing you to come up with a zombie survival plan — and quick!
Hone your survival tactics and imagine what your school or college campus might be like in a zombie apocalypse. Our Zombie Apocalypse Scholarship committee wants to know your plan to avoid the zombies, where you’d hide, and the top-five things you’d bring to stay alive.
We're giving one successful survivor $2,000 towards his or her college education. Do you think you have what it takes to make the cut?
Applicants must:
Must be 14 years of age or older at time of application.| Must be a legal U.S. resident.| Must be a resident of one of the 50 United States or the District of Columbia.| This award is for U.S. students.

CheapAutoInsurance.org is looking to award a $500 scholarship to a student who creates their best rendition of an auto insurance commercial. The commercial must be an original creation that shows good or bad driving habits. All high school seniors and college students with a 2.5 GPA are eligible to apply.

Olin E. Teague Memorial Scholarship
To encourage talented young people to pursue careers in the aerospace industry, the National Space Club and Foundation offer resources and scholarships to students. This scholarship is open to all high school seniors. Students must submit an official transcript, one letter of recommendation from a STEM teacher and a five-page research paper discussing a personal aerospace research project the student has conducted.

RDC Paving believes in helping determined, persistent and hardworking students achieve their goals.
