
Nuts, Bolts & Thingamajigs Foundation Scholarship
Nuts, Bolts & Thingamajigs provides scholarships up to $3,500 for students pursuing degrees that will lead to manufacturing careers. Applicants must be currently enrolled in or entering a certificate or degree program which leads to manufacturing career on a full-time basis (12 or more credit hours). A 2.5 GPA is required for trade, community, or technical colleges or 3.0 GPA for universities.

Notorious RBG Women of Tomorrow Scholarship
As remembered by the American Bar Association, “It is undeniable that the late Justice [Ruth Bader} Ginsburg transformed the legal profession, the Supreme Court, and the fabric of American society through her tireless advocacy for gender equity.” This scholarship is offered to honor the blazing legacy of “Notorious RBG” by awarding 10 applicants with $1,000 each for their efforts to embody the spirit of RBG within their own communities. An essay of 500-800 words is required, as well as other documents listed on the scholarship website. Rising high school students and recently graduated 2021 high school seniors may apply. Applicants of any gender are eligible.

Military Scholarship for Veterans, Active Duty and Spouses
To show thanks for the sacrifices made by the United States military and their families, Education Connection is offering a scholarship to help offset the costs of earning a degree and pursuing those next steps in your civilian career path. Applicants must be military active duty, honorably discharged, veteran or a spouse from any branch of the military. The scholarship is open to legal residents of the 50 United States and the District of Columbia.

The Gates Scholarship
The Gates Scholarship is a highly selective scholarship for outstanding minority high school seniors from low-income households. Each year it is awarded to 300 students, with the intent of helping hem realize their maximum potential. An applicant must be a high school senior from at least one of the following ethnicities: African-American, American/Indian/Alaska Native, Asian & Pacific Islander, and/or Hispanic American. They must be eligible to receive the Pell grant and a U.S. citizen, national or permanent resident.

Don't Text and Drive Scholarship
Texting while driving makes drivers 23 times more likely to get into a “safety-critical event.” To apply for this scholarship, complete the application form that will include a 140-character message about texting while driving. The application is open to any high school student or any level of college student, including graduate level. There is no age limit, but you must be a U.S. citizen or legal resident.

Cameron Impact Scholarship
The Cameron Impact Scholarship is a four-year, full-tuition, merit-based undergraduate scholarship awarded annually to 10-15 exceptional high school students who have demonstrated excellence in academics, extracurricular activities, leadership and community service. It is open to all applicants who maintain a GPA of 3.7 on a 4.0 scale in high school and are a full U.S. citizen, regardless of race, socioeconomic status, religion, sexual orientation or any other background factors.

Cancer Horizons Scholarship
Cancer Horizons strives to empower cancer patients, and this scholarship is an extension of their work. It is open to cancer patients (currently with cancer or recovering) and to those actively performing a role to help someone affected by cancer.
Eligibility requirements: You have/had cancer or are assisting someone with cancer in your personal and/or academic life and you’ve been accepted to or currently enrolled in an accredited college or university in the U.S. Undergraduate and graduate students are welcome to apply. You must also submit an essay and an official copy of your transcript.
