2019 Western Oklahoma Building Trades Scholarship

Eligibility:
1. Applicants must be one of the following (1) graduating Oklahoma high school senior that is presently concurrently enrolled at any accredited, not-for-profit, vocational technical, or two or four year institution, OR (2) students continuing academic study after high school with one year of completed college (age 23 or younger), OR (3) a non-traditional student must be 20 years of age or older.
2. A birth child or legally adopted child who is a tax dependent and currently eligible to be on a union member’s insurance.
3. A child is defined as a birth child or legally adopted child who is a tax dependent and currently eligible to be on a union member's insurance. A dependent who is eligible at the age of 23 remains eligible to apply if they are continuously enrolled in college.
Award $1,500. Previous applicants may reapply.

Jones HIgh School Freshman, Sophomores and Juniors: Anytown Leadership Institute is accepting applications for its 2019 Session scheduled for July 14-20 at Oklahoma State University. Cost is $450 and scholarships are available. For more information and to apply go to

JHS Sophomores and Juniors that are planning to do concurrent enrollment at Rose State next school year: You need to get your concurrent enrollment applications turned into Mr. Moses as soon as possible.
REMINDER: Jones High School Students interested in ACT Prep. Chad Cargill will be at Jones High School on March 13 doing a workshop from 9am to noon. Cost for Jones students is $10. All others cost is $30. Sign up and pay in counselors office to attend this workshop.

JHS Seniors: The Oklahoma State Regents for Higher Education assists in the administration of the Frances Koop Parsons/AT&T Pioneers Memorial Scholarship. This scholarship program was established through the AT&T Pioneers to assist Oklahoma students in obtaining their education goals. The recipients of this scholarship will receive a $1,000 cash award to be used at an eligible Oklahoma career technology center, two-year college, or four-year university. This scholarship is open to first-time freshmen with at least a 3.0 high school GPA whose family income does not exceed $75,000. See Mr Moses for application
We are excited to announce that OCCC will be hosting a PREVIEW DAY on Saturday, March 30th from 9am-2pm! This is for all students prospective, concurrent and/or admitted. The Tim Wallace Memorial Scholarship applications are now available. This is a $500 award. Deadline is April 26. Senior must have actively participated in any sport while at Jones High School and enroll in college the upcoming Fall after Graduation. See Mr. Moses for application.
