95th Division Scholarship
Eligibility Requirements of Application:
Applicants must be a graduating high school senior or a student enrolled in a college or vocational degree program.
Applicants must be a descendant of a member of one of the various components** of the 95th Division.
Unweighted GPA greater than or equal to 2.5.
Applicants must plan to attend any fully-accredited, profit or not-for-profit college, university or vocational school offering a two-year or a four-year curriculum in the United States.
Preference for financial need
**"Components" include World War II, or the various transitions of the Division as part of the Army Reserves.

The 95th Division Scholarship is a one-time award with an opportunity to reapply. Recipients may be considered for additional years of scholarship funding, but the recipient must reapply for the 95th Division Scholarship. No one student may receive the scholarship more than four years.
Funds may be used for tuition, fees, and books at any academically accredited two-year, four-year or vocational technical nonprofit institution in the United States. Payments are made directly to the school.
The 95th Division established this scholarship through an initial gift to the Oklahoma City Community Foundation. The 95th Division Scholarship fund encourages graduating high school students who are descendants of a soldier who served in any component of the 95th Division to pursue post-secondary education. Elements of the 95th Division are located in most areas of the United States, and soldiers/veterans of the Division may be found in any of the 50 states. This is an endowed scholarship fund of the Oklahoma City Community Foundation.

Dr. Eugene S. Briggs Memorial Scholarship
Eligibility:
Students who are residents of Oklahoma and are graduating, or have graduated, from an Oklahoma high school.
Must have a financial need.
Academic achievement, community service and need will all be reviewed in the application process.
Recipients of this scholarship must be enrolled full time in a course of study leading to a degree or certification at an academically accredited nonprofit institution in the United States.
Funds may be used for tuition, fees and book expenses; payments are made directly to the school. Awards must be used within the immediate academic year after the award is granted.
The Lions of Oklahoma established this memorial trust fund to perpetually memorialize and show appreciation to a fellow Oklahoma Lion, Dr. Eugene S. Briggs. He was the former president of Phillips University and a past international president of Lions Clubs.

Eligibility:
Applicants must be an employee or legal dependent of any employee of Taco Mayo Franchise Systems, Inc., or one of Taco Mayo Franchise Systems, Inc.’s franchisees or vendors.
Applicants must be students at an accredited institution, pursuing a degree or certification program.
High school students or students not currently enrolled may apply with award contingent upon acceptance into a degree or certification program.
Only one scholarship award per household.
Preference may be given to applicants from households with greater longevity with respect to the sponsoring employer.
Renewal:
Eligible students may re-apply. A collegiate GPA ≥ 2.0 and current enrollment in a minimum of 12 credit hours is required for the reapplication process.
Limited to four consecutive years.
Funds may be used for tuition, fees and book expenses at any accredited institution of higher education for degree or certification programs. Payments are made directly to the school. No more than six credit hours may be completed online each semester.

The Elsie Mae ‘Nat’ Glosemeyer Memorial Scholarship was established in 1998 by friends and family of Ms. Glosemeyer to honor her work with students participating in the Oklahoma Job Training Partnership Act. The scholarship honors her work with students who were ‘at-risk’ of not fulfilling their educational potential.

Eligibility:
Graduating high school senior who has been active at a Boys & Girls Club facility in Oklahoma County. Alumni/ae who have graduated within the last two years may also apply.
Applicants must be active at a Boys & Girls Club in Oklahoma County for a minimum of two years prior to high school graduation and in good standing.

Our JHS STUCO Food Drive was a huge success! OUr student body collected over 2200 food items! Great job Longhorns! All food items collected will be donated to our local Jones Food Pantry! Longhorns helping Longhorns!

Congratulations to our Jones High School Academic Team. We compete in one of the most difficult Districts in Class 4A. Our District results were: Bishop McGuiness- 1st, Harrah-2nd, Heritage Hall-3rd, and Jones-4th. These District Results determined our seeding for the Regional Tournament with two other Districts top 4 finishers. The Results from the Regional Tournament this past weekend was: Bishop McGuiness-1st, Harrah, 2nd, Heritage Hall-3rd, and Jones-4th. By Placing 4th at Regional Tournament, we advance to the Area Tournament at Bridge Creek on Saturday, January 18. The top two from this Area Tournament will advance to the State Tournament. The last time we were in the Area Tournament was in 2013 when we advanced and competed in State Tournament! Great Job Longhorn Academic Team!
