JHS NATIVE AMERICAN JUNIORS AND SENIORS: Bacone College in Muskogee, Oklahoma and is Oklahoma's oldest higher education institution. Bacone is returning to its historical mission to educate American Indians. As we prepare to transition to a tribal college, we are seeking out all Native students who wish to earn a college degree within a diverse campus community. JHS SENIORS: Delta Theta Chi Sorority, national, non-collegiate educational sorority is accepting applications for three(3) scholarships, in the amount of $1600.00 each Requirements call for the student to reside in the United States, have a high scholastic average, show evidence of financial need, and are currently enrolled or planning to enroll in an accredited college. Applicants also need to submit an application form, with attachments as specified by the National Executive Council. All applications must be completed and returned by February 1, 2020. Honoring the legacy and character of our nation’s 40th President, the GE-Reagan Foundation Scholarship Program rewards college-bound students who demonstrate exemplary leadership, drive, integrity, and citizenship with financial assistance to pursue higher education. Each year, the Program selects numerous recipients to receive a $10,000 scholarship renewable for up to an additional three years – up to $40,000 total per recipient. Awards are for undergraduate study and may be used for education-related expenses, including tuition, fees, books, supplies, room, and board.
