Students planning to take AP classes next year: There will be an AP Student/Parent Meeting on Thursdays May 12 at 5:30 in the High School Commons. Definitely want students and parents new to AP to attend but any AP Student/Parent is able to attend. Also if you are planning to take AP class next year, I need you to stop by counselor office and pick up AP Contract to review and sign.

Today, a few of our Leadership kids celebrated Miss Wendy & Ms. Rust for Secretary’s Day! We are so thankful for the work these ladies do & know that they are the backbone of JHS. Enjoy your day, ladies – Longhorns love you both!

Great job! Let's keep raising the bar for ourselves, the community, and students!

JHS JUNIORS interested in attending one of the Military Academies after graduation. Your application process begins now. If you are interested see Mr. Moses for more information.

JHS Students: Check out this information about the Eastern Oklahoma County Rotary Club Youth Leadership Camp. If interested let Mr. Moses know so he can submit your name to EOC Rotary.
You can watch the video at link below to learn more about the camp.
The Eastern Oklahoma County Rotary Club sponsors two students each year to earn our Rotary Youth Leadership Award. This is a FREE camp experience that typically is life-changing for all students who attend. We still have one spot open in our club and the camp director has informed us that there are many spots open across the board. This means that if our club doesn't have room, other clubs across the Rotary District will. We are asking you to look for students who have leadership potential, but maybe don't know it. This doesn't have to be the top student academically or the obvious leader. In fact, we often find students who are average in grades or have not yet emerged as leaders are perfect candidates as their experience is more significant.
