The Eugene McDermott Scholars Program at The University of Texas at Dallas is recruiting a new class! Your students with outstanding grades* and a proven passion for service and leadership might find their place with us.

JHS Juniors: Jones High School is a member of the Oklahoma City Community Foundation Central Oklahoma Guidance Counselor Network. Since we are members JHS Students are eligible for many of the 150 scholarships that the OCCF manages. Their Scholarship Portal opens this Sunday, October 1.
They have a scholarship specifically for Juniors. You need to be a first generation college student. First generation means parents and grandparents did not go to college. Your siblings could have gone to college but you are still classified as first generation.

JHS Seniors: The FAFSA normally opens in October but for students entering college in Fall of 2024 it will not be available until December at the earliest as the Federal Government is making changes to the FAFSA. Please see attached flyer for information on FAFSA, Changes, etc.
