9th-12th grade students interested in ACT Prep: Chad Cargill will be at Jones High School on October 9 from 9 to noon. If you would like to attend his workshop sign up and pay in counselor office. Cost is $30.00

Juniors and Sophomores: Jones High School will administer the PSAT/NMSQT on October 16. This is the exam that will qualify you for the National Merit Scholarship Contest. We have a limited number of exams. Cost is $17.00, sign up and pay in counseling office as soon as possible.

SIXT SCHOLARS PROGRAM SIXT rent a car is pleased to offer five high school seniors the opportunity to receive a $5,000 scholarship and become a SIXT scholar. The program is designed to assist high school students who plan to continue their education in college. Scholarships are offered each year for full-time study at an accredited institution of the student’s choice. JHS SENIORS: Elks National Foundation’s Most Valuable Student Competition The Elks National Foundation is providing scholarships to high school seniors who show excellence in all that they do. The foundation has been around for many years, and in honor of their history, they would like to help students succeed in college. To apply, students must be high school seniors and must plan to attend a four year college or university. Students can apply by submitting the online application along with all supporting documents. Applicants will be judged on academic achievement, leadership, community involvement and financial need.
