Jack Kent Cooke Foundation Scholarship
The Cooke College Scholarship Program is for high-achieving high school seniors who plan to attend a four-year college or university. The application requires two recommendation letters, several short essaysand established academic success. Students must have a GPA of 3.5 or above, an SAT score of 1200 or an ACT composite score of 26. To be considered, applicants must have a family income of $95K or below. This competitive scholarship encourages students to highlight their community or academic service and leadership.

Jones High School Scholarship
Eligibility:
Must have completed their junior and senior years at Jones High School, and be a graduating senior from Jones High School.
A GPA ≥ 3.0 and ACT ≥ 19.
Demonstrate participation in at least one extracurricular activity at the high school or in the community.
Financial need is considered.
Funds may be used for educational related expenses such as tuition, fees and books at any academically accredited two-year, four-year or vocational technical nonprofit institution in the United States. Payments are made directly to the school. No more than six credit hours may be completed online each semester.
The Jones High School Scholarship Fund was established in 2000 by the citizens of Jones to encourage high school graduates to pursue higher education. This is an endowed scholarship fund of the Oklahoma City Community Foundation administered in conjunction with the faculty and administration of Jones High School.

In 1997, the Oklahoma City Community Foundation’s Trustee Scholarship Initiative was established to encourage more students in central Oklahoma to further their education after high school.

95th Division Scholarship
Eligibility Requirements of Application:
Applicants must be a graduating high school senior or a student enrolled in a college or vocational degree program.
Applicants must be a descendant of a member of one of the various components** of the 95th Division.
Unweighted GPA greater than or equal to 2.5.
Applicants must plan to attend any fully-accredited, profit or not-for-profit college, university or vocational school offering a two-year or a four-year curriculum in the United States.
Preference for financial need
**"Components" include World War II, or the various transitions of the Division as part of the Army Reserves.

The 95th Division Scholarship is a one-time award with an opportunity to reapply. Recipients may be considered for additional years of scholarship funding, but the recipient must reapply for the 95th Division Scholarship. No one student may receive the scholarship more than four years.

The 95th Division established this scholarship through an initial gift to the Oklahoma City Community Foundation. Elements of the 95th Division are located in most areas of the United States, and soldiers/veterans of the Division may be found in any of the 50 states. The Elsie Mae ‘Nat’ Glosemeyer Memorial Scholarship was established in 1998 by friends and family of Ms. Glosemeyer to honor her work with students participating in the Oklahoma Job Training Partnership Act. The scholarship honors her work with students who were ‘at-risk’ of not fulfilling their educational potential.

Donna Vandiver Knapp Piano & Vocal Music Education Fund
Eligibility:
Applicants may be a graduating high school senior or a college freshman, sophomore, or junior.
Applicants must be attending or plan on attending the University of Oklahoma College of Music.
Applicants must have cumulative GPA of 3.5 or higher.
Student must be Oklahoma state resident and US citizen.
Two awards will go out each year; one for piano music education and one for vocal music education.
Financial need is considered.
Recipients of the Donna Vandiver Knapp Piano and Vocal Music Education Fund may reapply for the scholarship each year (4 award maximum).
Funds must be used at The University of Oklahoma College of Music for the cost of tuition, fees, required books and supplies. Payments are made directly to the school. Payments are issued in the following academic year.
The Donna Vandiver Knapp Piano and Vocal Music Education Fund is established in 2012 to provide scholarship opportunities for qualified students majoring in music education with an emphasis in piano or vocal music at the University of Oklahoma.

Eligibility:
Graduating high school senior who has been active at a Boys & Girls Club facility in Oklahoma County. Alumni/ae who have graduated within the last two years may also apply.
Applicants must be active at a Boys & Girls Club in Oklahoma County for a minimum of two years prior to high school graduation and in good standing.
Student must have an unweighted GPA greater than or equal to 2.5.
Preference for students going on to study in a STEM related degree program.

The University of Oklahoma - College of Pharmacy
The Pharm.D. Early Assurance Program (PEAP) provides a path for high school students who are highly motivated toward the pharmacy profession and are focused, committed, and determined to succeed in attaining their goal in a shorter time frame.
PEAP is a six-year pathway to becoming a Doctor of Pharmacy. Accepted students will receive personalized course advising each semester in the program, complete pharmacy shadowing, community service projects and attend leadership seminars, all of which will prepare you to begin your Pharm.D. program beginning of your junior year. Students who successfully complete the PEAP program are guaranteed an interview to The OU College of Pharmacy.

JHS SENIORS INTERESTED IN OU's NROTC Program:
The Navy ROTC program is a great opportunity for your students to earn a scholarship. The program is for leaders who desire to serve as an officer in the United States Navy or Marine Corps and lead America’s finest in the Naval Services. Additionally, the NROTC program at OU offers an opportunity to compete for a $3,000 freshman scholarship that is awarded in the fall semester based on academics, physical fitness, and performance in the unit. For fall 2020, there will be up to 11 of these scholarships available.
How your students can join OU NROTC:
1 – Apply for the national scholarship their senior year of high school. The deadline for this is December 31 of their senior year. Typically, students complete the application process during the summer between the junior and senior year in high school or very early in the senior year.
2 – The College Program, which is essentially the NROTC equivalent of being a walk-on football player on a college football team. The NROTC unit does not pay for any of the costs associated with their schooling, and at the end of their freshman and sophomore years in college, they have an opportunity to earn a three-year or two-year scholarship, respectively. If students participate in this program, they need to be prepared to pay for the full cost of college for the first two years at the university. The College Program application process runs from January 1–May 1 each year for the upcoming fall semester. Participation in the NROTC program also grants in-state tuition to the University of Oklahoma for out-of-state residents.
The minimum requirement for scholarship applications are as follows:

Be the first in their family to attend college. For the purpose of this scholarship program, the definition of “first in the family” is that applicant or applicant’s parents, stepparents or grandparents have not attended college.

The Process:
If you are recommended by the Scholarship Selection Committee of your high school, you and your parent/guardian will sign a contract stating applicant will complete a series of college preparatory activities including:
Working during the summer between your junior and senior year
Participating in a college campus visit accompanied by your parent.
By January 15th of your senior year, your high school guidance counselor must provide certification of these activities to the Oklahoma City Community Foundation. If all of the required activities have been completed, you will receive the documents necessary to claim a one-year scholarship of $2,000. Funds may be used for tuition, fees and books at any academically accredited two-year, four-year or vocational/technical nonprofit institution in the United States. Payments are made directly to the school.
New Opportunities Scholars, formerly known as the Foundation of Promise, began in 2000 to encourage students who will be first in their family to go to college.

Eligibility:
