With technology always at the ready at your fingertips, it can be a challenge to unplug. But taking a break from technology is healthy for both the mind and body. The purpose of this scholarship is to help you understand the negative effects of too much screen time. American Fire Sprinkler Association HS Senior Scholarship Contest The American Fire Sprinkler Association (AFSA) is a nonprofit, international association representing merit shop fire sprinkler contractors, dedicated to the educational advancement of its members and promotion of the use of automatic fire sprinkler systems. Eligibility Requirements: The High School Senior College Scholarship Contest is open to high school seniors who are citizens or aliens legally residing in the USA. Scholarship funds are payable to the winner’s college/university or certified trade school in the United States; the winner must enroll in classes beginning no later than the Fall 2024 session. Winner selection is NOT based on financial need, GPA, or demographic criteria. Home-schooled students may apply as long as the course of study is equivalent to that of a senior in high school. Jones 8, 9, 10th, or 11th Grade Students: If you have not submitted your Oklahoma's Promise Scholarship application you need to get this done as soon as possible. Requirements Must be an Oklahoma resident. Must enroll in the 8th, 9th, 10th or 11th grade. Must be a student whose parents' federal adjusted gross income does not exceed: $60,000 with 1 or 2 dependent children OR $70,000 with 3 or 4 dependent children OR $80,000 with 5 or more dependent children.
