JHS STUDENTS INTERESTED IN EOC NEXT STEP SCHOLARSHIP:
Please see the digital Next Step application, attached below. (Students should be able to input data digitally, and do not need to print to fill out) Also, disregard the signature area from the EOC Tech Instructor. Student Services will take care of that on the back end. The Next Step Scholarship will cover tuition at EOC Technology Center in one of our daytime programs. Please visit http://www.eoctech.edu/fulltime-programs/ for more information on program offerings. The Next Step Scholarship does not apply to the Fire Academy or EMT.
Students applying for the Next Step application will also need to apply for FAFSA. Some students will have the opportunity to receive a PELL grant that will assist them through the program. If students plan to go to college and do not want to use a year of PELL at EOC Tech, that is totally fine. School Code for EOC Tech: 015867
Students do not have to be currently enrolled in a program to take advantage of the Next Step Scholarship. If a new student is applying, the scholarship will last for the amount of time it takes them to complete the program. For instance, if an adult student attends full-time, they can finish the program within one year. If the student attends half-time, the scholarship will last the two years the student attends.
If you could please let your student know that enrollment meetings will be held with Mrs. Christensen once EOC Tech is back in session. Students can submit their completed Next Step Scholarship application to studentservices@eoctech.edu
