All elementary students will receive
popcorn & a bottled water.
NOTE: Unfortunately, the grounds are too wet and the weather too unpredictable to have Playday this year.
**Concession items (food/small toys) will be sold both days so students may use their snack coupons. Cash may be used also.**

NO MAKEUP DAY FOR TODAY!! We had just enough hours left for yesterday and today.
Jones public schools is canceled due to flooding today Tuesday, May 21.
After looking at the calendar and hours taught this year, It looks like we can meet the hours requirement without adding any additional time. The last day of school for Jones is Thursday, May 23rd.
Due to potential severe weather tomorrow Jones Public Schools will be closed tomorrow, May 20.
The possibility of severe weather during school hours will undoubtedly create some anxiety. Please remember that every student at Jones is within a few minutes of a safe room while at school. However, if you feel your family will be safer at home, we will support your decision. If you decide to keep you child at home, please call the main office to report the absence, so it can be excused. Tomorrow’s absences will not count against perfect attendance or absences limitations.

JES Playday has been rescheduled for Wednesday. Aloha Day & 5th grade Aloha Party will be Thursday, along with the scheduled Awards Assembly.
JES students may bring $1.00 and wear a HAT at school all day tomorrow (May 9th)! All proceeds go to the American Cancer Society through Relay for Life.
JES Parents:
Use the emailed form, or printed copy sent home Monday in your child’s backpack to order an Aloha Autograph T-shirt.
Students may wear them on May 22nd. Fifth graders will get a shirt free of charge.
They are white and cost $10.
Orders due Monday, May 6th.
Cash and checks (made payable to JES) are accepted.
