JMS is with partial power this morning. OG&E is currently here working on the problem. They estimate it will be at least noon before it’s fixed. We are continuing on with our day at JMS. We will have sack lunches and plenty of bottled water for students. Classes are being moved to other classrooms with power. Phones are down, so please call the high school if you need us and they can relay that message to us. Your students have been so awesome this morning! They are being flexible and rolling with it. So proud of our middle school students and staff on how they handle the unexpected.
7/8 Football parents: 7/8 football players will stay for the High School scrimmage. They will be transported back by bus to the High School at the conclusion of the scrimmage.
JMS Parents of Girls and Boys Athletics: All BCA & GCA will report to the HS tomorrow, Aug 21. Football at 7:30, Boys off season at 8:00, Softball at 7:30, Girls off season at 8:20, all cross country at 8:20.
Green and White Scrimmage is tonight!
JMS Football parents: Green & White Scrimmage is Sat, Aug 17th at JHS. Parent meeting in the HS commons at 5. JMS scrimmage at 5:30. JHS scrimmage at 6:30.
JMS parents: this morning Oklahoma County closed the bridge on Wilshire near the middle school. Currently, it is still closed. Parents picking up their children from school today will need to take an alternate route to JMS.
JMS parents: we will review Wednesday and take finals on Thursday. Finals may be condensed to ensure students have time to finish.
JMS track parents: Marlow has canceled the track meet for Thursday, March 14.
JMS parents: the baseball game scheduled for Monday is canceled. A make up game has not yet been rescheduled. The cheer parent meeting for Monday is also canceled. The cheer parent meeting will be Tuesday, March 5th at 6:00 at the high school commons.
JMS parents: Middle School basketball games that have been cancelled today will be made up Monday, December 17th. Games will start at 4:00 at the High School. Thank you.
JMS parents: We are cancelling tonight's middle school basketball games with Luther due to weather. We are working to find another date to make up games and will send out that date when it is confirmed. Thanks!
JMS parents:Today, a JMS student made a general threat toward JMS. The student has been cooperative & regrets the comment. We have made appropriate notifications and feel there is no reason for alarm or further action. The student will not be in attendance next week. Thank you.

Aug 6th @ 6:00 - Cross Country meeting. Meeting will be held in the commons at the high school. Anyone student athlete wanting to participate must attend this meeting with their guardian.
