On Saturday, May 15th from 10 a.m.-12 p.m., Congresswoman Bice will be hosting a Virtual Service Academy Day. This event is for students 7th grade and older who live in Oklahoma’s Fifth Congressional District and may be interested in attending a United States Service Academy.
Service Academy Day will feature representatives from the various service academies who will give an overview of their academy, the application process, and answer questions from students and parents. This is an excellent opportunity for interested students to learn more about the United States Service Academies.
Students must RSVP to cam.thomas@mail.house.gov no later than May 13th in order to obtain the participation link. Please do not hesitate to reach out to Congresswoman Bice’s office at (405) 300-6890 or at this e-mail address with any questions.

JMS 7/8 track parents: As of now, the track meet is still scheduled. It may be a late call depending on the weather. Students are scheduled to leave at 1:45. Any parent who wants to attend the meet must purchase tickets online. Tickets will not be sold at the gate and all sales are final. Attached is the information for purchasing tickets.
JMS parents: It is with a heavy heart that we are informing you there has been a tragedy of a JMS student over the weekend. There will be crisis counselors all day at JMS tomorrow for any students needing to visit. Jones Assembly of God will be holding a prayer vigil at 5pm this evening and all are welcome.
JMS track parents: the 7/8 track meet scheduled for Monday has been canceled.

Parent/Teacher Conferences
Virtual conferences will be held in March 9th and March 11th from 4-7.
Please contact the office to set up an appointment if you would like your student’s teacher to call you.
JMS athletics: 7th and 8th BCA will meet at the indoor facility in the morning. This is the building on the south end of the football field. GCA will meet in the gym as normal.
