Oklahoma State Fair Visual Arts Scholarship Established in 2002, the Oklahoma State Fair Scholarship Program has provided nearly $250,000 to deserving and qualified Oklahoma youth through annual, individual awards of $2,500 each. The program selects 10 winners to receive a one-time award of $2,500. The Oklahoma State Fair offers five annual Visual Art Scholarships available to graduating seniors whose school participated in the Oklahoma Student Art Exhibition within the prior two years. DNA Day Essay Contest ASHG is proud to support National DNA Day through the Annual DNA Day Essay Contest. DNA Day commemorates the completion of the Human Genome Project in April 2003 and the discovery of the double helix of DNA in 1953. This contest is open to students in grades 9-12 worldwide and asks students to examine, question, and reflect on important concepts in genetics. Essays are expected to be well-reasoned arguments that indicate a deep understanding of scientific concepts related to the essay question. Black at Microsoft Scholarships BAM is dedicated to supporting the continued growth and development of black employees and encouraging students to pursue a career in technology.
