JHS SENIORS: THE JONES HIGH SCHOOL SCHOLARSHIP APPLICATION IS OPEN THROUGH THE OKLAHOMA CITY COMMUNITY FOUNDATION
Jones High School Scholarship
Eligibility:
Must have completed their junior and senior years at Jones High School and be a graduating senior from Jones High School.
A GPA ≥ 3.0 and ACT ≥ 19.
Demonstrate participation in at least one extracurricular activity at the high school or in the community.
Financial need is considered.
Funds may be used for educational-related expenses such as tuition, fees and books at any academically accredited two-year, four-year or vocational technical nonprofit institution in the United States. Payments are made directly to the school. No more than six credit hours may be completed online each semester.
The Jones High School Scholarship Fund was established in 2000 by the citizens of Jones to encourage high school graduates to pursue higher education. This is an endowed scholarship fund of the Oklahoma City Community Foundation administered in conjunction with the faculty and administration of Jones High School.

To be eligible for this scholarship, you need to return to the General Application and attach a FAFSA or a 1040 if you cannot complete the FAFSA.) If you cannot complete the FAFSA, please indicate your financial circumstances on your General Application under the particular circumstances question.

JHS Students interested in University of Tulsa:
The University of Tulsa Presidential Scholarship worth full tuition until an undergraduate degree is earned.
The deadline for students to apply is February 1, 2023. Interested students will also need to have completed the TU application or the Common App by February 1. An official transcript is needed to complete the application. Students without an official transcript on file with TU as of February 1 will not be eligible.
Presidential Scholarship Eligibility Requirements
To be considered for the Presidential Scholarship, applicants must meet one or more of the following eligibility requirements.
National Hispanic Scholars who rank in the top 10% of their graduating class
Students who either
Rank in the top 5% of their graduating class OR
Have at least a 4.0 weighted grade point average

FAFSA PRESENTATION: We will have a College Professional in College Prep on Monday Oct. 10 to go over how to complete FAFSA and how to create your pin to sign FAFSA. Any senior not in college Prep that would like to attend can sign up with MR. Moses in the counseling office. If you want to attend, sign up as soon as possible so we can determine if we need to move the presentation to a larger location.
JHS Seniors planning to go to college in Fall of 2023: Please make sure you are completing and submitting your applications for admissions. Many schools have priority scholarship deadlines in November and December. You can send your transcript via parchment by creating your learner account at
