JHS Students: Check out this information about the Eastern Oklahoma County Rotary Club Youth Leadership Camp. If interested let Mr. Moses know so he can submit your name to EOC Rotary. You can watch the video at link below to learn more about the camp. The Eastern Oklahoma County Rotary Club sponsors two students each year to earn our Rotary Youth Leadership Award. This is a FREE camp experience that typically is life-changing for all students who attend. We still have one spot open in our club and the camp director has informed us that there are many spots open across the board. This means that if our club doesn't have room, other clubs across the Rotary District will. We are asking you to look for students who have leadership potential, but maybe don't know it. This doesn't have to be the top student academically or the obvious leader. In fact, we often find students who are average in grades or have not yet emerged as leaders are perfect candidates as their experience is more significant. https://leadernu.com/ryla-info/d5750/

Service Learning created 4 “core beliefs” for JHS. With these beliefs, we’re hoping to establish the cornerstone of our school & uphold these expectations along with both the students & faculty. We were so happy with their thoughts & ideas that we, together with our awesome art teacher, had them made into professional posters/banner to display proudly over the commons. Just another way this class is establishing the culture & increasing the pride here at Jones.
