Money Metals Exchange has teamed up with the Sound Money Defenses League to announce their scholarship program. The two companies would like to help students cover educational expenses and help them push toward their goals. To apply, students must complete an online application and submit the following documents:
An essay (1,000 words)
A copy of your resume
A copy of your transcript

Soma Weight Loss Health & Wellness Scholarship
Soma Weight Loss is proud to announce its scholarship opportunity for students majoring in a field of study that promotes achieving and maintaining a healthy weight. Students can apply by submitting an online application, a copy of their transcript and an essay (1,000 words) that explains what good health means to them. Eligible majors include the following:

Nutritionist

Jaime Horn Memorial Softball Scholarship
Jaime Lynn Horn believed the softball field was an extension of the classroom, as it also taught students many important lessons. To help students continue their learning in the classroom and on the field, the Babe Ruth League is offering a scholarship to second-semester freshman collegiate students who have played Babe Ruth Softball at one point in their life. Students can apply by submitting an application along with all supporting documents.

Jazz Education Network (JEN) Scholarships
Each year JEN proudly recognizes talented, hardworking students and educators who have made an impact on jazz. With this scholarship program, the organization hopes to support those who want to continue their jazz education. To apply, students must be nominated by a JEN member or chapter, or a student JEN member can nominate themselves. Upon nomination, students must submit a short biography and a few letters of recommendations.

Hot Juice Smoke Free Merit Scholarship
The HotJuice.com scholarship hopes to encourage students’ decisions to remain smoke and tobacco free throughout their scholastic career. All students enrolled, or planning to enroll, in a higher education institution are eligible to apply. Simply submit an essay (1,000 words) that answers one of three prompts about your creativity and future goals.

Driven Coffee Scholarship
Driven Coffee believes in supporting their local community and other communities around the world. They’re motivated to make the world a better place and want to know how you plan to use your education to make a difference. The scholarship is open to all undergraduate students. Eligible students must commit to attending an Oklahoma college or university. To apply, students must be nominated by teachers, administrators or any other nonrelated adult.

In compliance with Section 1111(b)(2)(H) of ESSA, Jones Public Schools would like to provide community stakeholders with an opportunity to provide meaningful input regarding our district’s intent to request permission to administer the ACT in lieu of the statewide assessment.
Our district selection for the College & Career Readiness Assessment to be administered to all grade 11 students during the OSTP testing window is the ACT.

JHS students who did summer concurrent enrollment or received college credit for Boys State or Girls State: Make sure you provide Mr. Moses with copy of your college transcript with those courses.

Just a reminder that most tribal scholarships will pay for concurrent enrollment. Even when tuition is waived by the institution, tribal scholarships can be applied to fees, books or other miscellaneous expenses. So make sure any Native students you have, who are planning on concurrent enrollment this year, contact their tribe for scholarship information.
