JHS Juniors: Central Rural Electric Cooperative is pleased to continue sponsoring the Youth Tour program where the top two winners of the competition will go on a weeklong all-expense-paid trip to Washington D.C. The remaining four of the top six will receive a $250 scholarship. Please note that students now have the option to submit a video or an essay as their entry. This year’s topic is “Briefly discuss the seven cooperative principles. Which do you think is the most important and why?” To be eligible, students must currently be enrolled as high school juniors inside Central’s service area. You will have to agree to make a 2.5 or above GPA in the 17 required courses in high school, stay away from drugs and alcohol and maintain good school attendance.
