JHS Students in 9th-10th grade: This is your opportunity to sign up for Oklahoma's Promise. If parents make less than 55,000, you take the right courses, make good grades, and stay out of trouble, the state of Oklahoma will pay up to four years of your tuition at an in state school. JHS Seniors: While you are in the OCCF SCHOLARSHIP site applying for the Community Foundation Scholars and Jones High School Scholarships, make sure you look at their other 800+ scholarships and apply for all that you are eligible! https://www.occf.org/scholarships/

JHS Juniors: Jones High School is a member of the Oklahoma City Community Foundation Guidance Counselor Network. This means that you are eligible to apply for most of the scholarships that they have available. Jones High School is guaranteed to receive at least one New Opportunity Scholars Scholarship. JHS SENIORS ENTERING COLLEGE OR TECHNOLOGY CENTER IN THE FALL OF 2021: With Fall Break right around the corner, I would encourage all to get with parents and complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid(FAFSA). Apply even if you think you will not receive aid. Many scholarships require FAFSA completion to be eligible to receive the scholarship. You also never know, you may be eligible for some Federal Aid. JHS Seniors interested in Wichita State: Reminder Jones Students can attend Wichita State and pay in state tuition. JHS students are eligible for all Wichita State Scholarships. Wichita State Scholarship dates are coming up quickly. Get application for admissions and scholarship applications complete as soon as possible. See links below for more information. dmitted students are automatically considered for our Freshman Merit Scholarship (no application!). Students are awarded $8,000-$16,000 depending on their GPA/test score combination. The minimum criteria is a 3.25 unweighted GPA AND a 22 ACT OR 1100 SAT. The priority consideration date is November 1, so students must have qualifying test score on file to be considered. Large scholarship competitions are available for students who qualify to compete. The chart below shows all our scholarship competitions. I’ve also attached a scholarship brochure with detailed information.
