Jack Kent Cooke Young Artist Award
The Jack Kent Cooke Award highlights exceptional pre-collegiate musicians ages 8-18 by offering them a scholarship to study classical music. Additionally, recipients will perform on NPR’s From the Top. The scholarship is offered to classical instrumentalists, vocalists and composers who have not yet entered college. Eligible applicants should be able to demonstrate exceptional musical achievement, unmet financial need, academic achievement and strength of character. Scholarships can be used toward instrument purchases, summer camps, college audition expenses, private lessons or other music-related needs.
Award Amount: 20 awards; up to $10,000

The Gates Scholarship
The Gates Scholarship is awarded to outstanding minority high school seniors from low-income households. The purpose of this scholarship is to help students reach their maximum potential. Scholars receive funding for the full cost of attendance that is not already covered by other financial aid. To be eligible, applicants must be a high school senior and be a US citizen, national or permanent resident. Applicants must also have a minimum GPA of 3.3 and identify as one of the following ethnicities: African-American, American Indian/Alaska Native, Asian/Pacific Islander American or Hispanic American. To apply students must create an account and follow the online application to demonstrate leadership ability, and academic/personal success.

Oklahoma Hall of Fame Scholarship
Each year, the Oklahoma Hall of Fame and Gaylord-Pickens Museum search the state to award one deserving high school senior the Oklahoma Hall of Fame Scholarship. The scholarship, disbursed over a four-year period, is based on a student’s leadership roles, community involvement, academic achievement and knowledge and pride of Oklahoma. To apply, students must be nominated by teachers, administrators or other non-related adults.
Award Amount: $6,000

JHS seniors: The Coca Cola Foundation Scholarship application is now open. This is a lengthy application. Start as soon as possible. Deadline is October 31. Could be awarded 20000 dollar scholarship.
