National Air Transportation Association Richard L. Taylor Flight Scholarship
Richard Taylor was a 22-year member of the Aviation Department at Ohio State University. For 7 of those years, he held the position of Director of Flight Operations and Education. Professor Taylor was also an award-winning author who helped foster opportunities for aviation students as they pursuedheir careers as professional pilots. His influence continues to extend to future pilots through the Richard L. Taylor Flight Training Scholarship. To qualify, students must be a senior in high school and be enrolled to attend a flight program through an accredited college or university. Applicants must also have a private pilot’s license.

One Little PersonScholarship
The One Little Person Scholarship is intended to highlight the importance of one individual on the life of a student. Applicants will submit a personal statement describing the “one little person” in their life and how they were influential. The statement should also answer “why you chose your specific major” and “what you plan to do to change the world.” The scholarship is open to Oklahoma graduating high schoolers or undergraduate students of African American descent.

Society of Exploration Geophysicists Scholarship
SEG encourages the study of geophysics and related geosciences through the generosity of donors such as Anadarka, Chevron and Equinor. Funds may be applied to tuition, books and fees and awarded based on merit. To qualify, applicants must either be a high school senior, undergraduate or graduate student. Students must also intend to pursue a college curriculum directed toward a career in applied geophysics. Students from all over the world have been recipients of this scholarship.

Shell Scholarships for High School Seniors
Graduating high school seniors who have an interest in the energy industry and have demonstrated an aptitude in mathematics and science may qualify to receive either the Shell Oil Company Technical Scholarship or the Shell Incentive Fund Scholarship. After completing one successful year of studies, recipients may be eligible to apply for a four-year renewable award of $5,000. To apply, students must plan to enroll full-time in one of the following majors: geology, geophysics, physics, chemical, civil electrical, geological, mechanical or petroleum engineering at a Shell specified institution. To qualify for the Incentive Fund Scholarship, students must be a member of an underrepresented minority group.

SEMA SCHOLARSHIPS
SEMA is now accepting applications for the 2021 SEMA Memorial Scholarship Fund for students preparing for careers in the automotive aftermarket industry.
Since its inception in 1984, the SEMA Scholarship fund has provided financial support to promising students, helping them to successfully open doors to those working towards a career in our field. The program offers financial assistance of up to $5,000 with scholarships available in a variety of categories, including but not limited to accounting, sales, marketing, engineering, and more.
